Xiaomi is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone Mi 6 soon, though we still do not have any official confirmation. Today, few more front panel images of Xiaomi Mi 6 have leaked on the web (1, 2) which match with the earlier leaked front panel images few days ago. These front panel images indicate a Home button at the bottom along with navigation buttons and slots at the top of the display which houses the front shooter, speakers and probably an Iris scanner. These images also indicate big bezels at top 7 bottom while negligible bezels at sides.
Apart from these front panel leaks, Xiaomi weibo account released a message along with an image of Xiaomi Mi 5 which suggests that the company may be officially announcing the launch details about Mi 6 tomorrow.
Alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 was listed on gfxbench few days ago which suggests that Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.1 inch full HD 1080p display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 (two frequency variants) along with 6 GB / 4 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage. In terms of camera, it features a 12 MP main rear camera which can capture ultra HD or 4K videos and another front shooter of 8 MP sensor. When it comes to sensors, it includes NFC.
Other rumors have also indicated some features about the upcoming flagship device such as :
- Mi 6 to come with 5X Optical Zoom
- Mi 6 will be Waterproof and with NO Audio jack
- Dual Camera
- MI 6 lower variant may be powered by Snapdragon 821
