Rumor mills around HTC’s upcoming flagship device HTC U 11 are in full swing in spite of no details on when the official launch is going to happen. Thanks to numerous leaks and rumors, we already know the alleged hardware specifications of HTC U 11 and even the press renders of the device. Today, we have one more piece of puzzle which adds something more to the information we already have, about HTC U 11. The latest rumor comes from the leakster @LlabTooFeR who has good reputation when it comes to HTC rumors.

#HTCU11 will have USB-C -> 3.5mm adaptor inside the box…

— LlabTooFeR (@LlabTooFeR) May 3, 2017

As per @LlabTooFeR, HTC U 11 will come with a USB C type to 3.5mm audio jack adapter in the retail box. Even though the leakster has not clearly said that the flagship phone from HTC is ditching the 3.5mm audio jack just like Apple iPhone 7, yet we can safely interpret from his statement about the USB C to 3.5mm Audio adapter that HTC is indeed ditching the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of a USB C type port in HTC U 11.

As per the latest leak from GearIndia, HTC U 11 sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB/128 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 2TB (with microSDXC cards) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (with HTC Sense UI & Edge Sense) based operating system.

In terms of camera, HTC U 11 features a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 main rear camera with ƒ/1.7 aperture, OIS, dual-tone LED flash, & 4K video recording and another 16-megapixel front shooter with ƒ/2.0 aperture, & 1080p video recording. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh non removable battery along with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The phone comes with a Fingerprint Sensor & is IP57-certified Water Resistant.

At the moment, we do not have any official information about HTC U 11. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
