Chinese smartphone retailer Oppomart is infamous for putting up dummy listings of upcoming flagship smartphones based on leaks and rumors including dummy data ahead of official launch. The latest listing on Oppomart comes for Oneplus upcoming rumored flagship smartphone OnePlus 5 which lists out the technical specifications of the phone and the price of the device as $449. The listing also includes a render of the device showing the dual camera setup at back and is basically one of the leaked renders, which in our opinion is fake. Latest rumors have suggested a horizontal aligned dual camera setup at the top left corner of the phone and not a vertically aligned dual camera.
The technical specifications of OnePlus 5 as per the retailer listing are as follows:
- 5.5-inch quad HD display, 2560×1440 pixels resolution
- 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core processor
- 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB/128GB USF 2.1 storage
- 12 MP rear dual-camera, 8 MP front camera
- Front fingerprint scanner supported
- Oxygen OS base on Android N,
- 3580 mAh, non-removable, Dash Charge 2.0
The listing indicates the estimated availability of the phone and shipping from beginning of June, 2017.
These specs matches in parts, with some of the leaked rumors which suggest that OnePlus 5 may only come with a full HD 1080p display instead of a Quad HD or 2K display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6 GB of RAM. Rumors also suggested that OnePlus 5 may come with 3600 mAh battery and offer 25% faster charging compared to existing OnePlus 3T with a possible launch date of the flagship device in late June 2017 which just the end of H1 2017.
As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
