The hype around upcoming Meizu Pro 7 revolves around the new design at the back panel which integrates a secondary display just below the dual rear camera. We have already seen the render images of the phone confirming the Meizu Pro 7 design both from front and rear. In spite of the render images of the rear, there were still doubts about how the secondary display will work? Is it just a black & white E-ink display or a colourful display and how it works exactly.
Just ahead of the official launch on July 26, today a hands on video of the Meizu Pro 7 secondary display at the rear, has leaked which gives us a fair idea of how the secondary display will work. Have a look:
Looking at the hands on video, we can see that it is colourful display instead of just a black and white E-ink display, which can be woken up using the Double tap to wake feature and it displays Date, Time, Weather animation or data from your fitness tracker. It seems to display images etc from the gallery perhaps or perhaps wallpapers that can be changed.
In terms of the hardware specifications, Meizu Pro 7 is rumoured feature a 5.2 QHD display, powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8895 / Helio X30 processor along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage, running Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system with Flyme OS on top of it. It may be powered by 3000 mAh / 3500 mAh battery with Meizu’s mCharge fast charge technology. In terms of camera, it may feature a dual camera module with 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 CMOS sensor.
As the official launch is just a week away, we will know all the details pretty soon. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
