LG V30 i.e. the upcoming flagship device from LG, is scheduled to be officially unveiled on August 31 at IFA Berlin. Numerous leaks and rumors about LG V30 have surfaced on the web, giving us a fair sneak peek of what the upcoming smartphone has in store. Today, a new leak comes in the form of a press render which shows the alleged LG V30 front display in detail.
We can clearly see the display of LG V30 looks quite similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ infinite display with almost negligible bezels at sides and very thin bezels at top & bottom. THe lock screen shows the time and the date of “August 31” which is basically the official launch date of Lg V30.There is no buttons at the front which indicates that the fingerprint sensor may be located on the rear panel, while the phone has the on-screen navigation buttons just like Galaxy S8/S8+. On one of the sides, we can see the two buttons which may be the Volume rockers and power button.
The same leak also puts the LG V30 side by side with LG G6 and Galaxy S8/S8+ which gives a good estimate of the size of the device compared to existing ones. The phone looks a bit wider compared to LG G6 though smaller than the Galaxy S8/S8+.
Apart from this leak, LG today officially confirmed that the next flagship smartphone from LG Electronics (LG) will be the first ever device to feature a plastic OLED FullVision display. We expect the next flagship smartphone from LG will be the LG V30 and hence will feature a plastic OLED FullVision display. The official image below matches with the leaked press render above.
We have already seen an alleged sketch of LG V30 from @Onleaks showing the device from both front and back. It shows similar front display as shown in press render above, while the dual camera module along with LED flash and fingerprint sensor is visible at the rear panel. Have a look:
LG V30 is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 835 processor along with 6 GB of RAM with upgraded Quad-DAC compared to LG V20 and may run on the upcoming version of Android i.e. Android 8.0. Other rumours also indicate that the phone may feature dual cameras both at the front and rear along with an enclosed battery, a tall, narrow screen apart from the usual flagship like hardware. Rumours also suggest that the phone may come with Wireless Charging and may come with a glass back.
