The successor to Sony Xperia Z1 flagship device branded as Sony Xperia XZ1 is expected to be unveiled sometime in first week of September during the IFA event. The real life images of Sony Xperia XZ1 have just surfaced on the web revealing the design details of the device showing it from different angles along with brief hardware specifications of the device.
The leaked images show Sony Xperia XZ1 from front and rear along with both sides. We can see that Sony is continuing with its typical rectangular Candy Bar design and Xperia XZ1 looks quite similar to other Sony devices. The images are shot while the device is turned off and the plastic wrapper on the screen is still intact. On the rear, we can see the camera positioned at the top left corner while LED flash is next to it. The Xperia branding is in the middle of the rear panel while the Sony branding is visible at top of the front screen.
The plastic wrapper reveals the hardware specifications of Sony Xperia XZ1 which indicates that the flagship phone sports a 5.2 inch Triluminos display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage and comes with waterproof IP65/68 support. In terms of camera, it comes with 19 MP main rear camera and a 13 MP front shooter for selfies. It includes features such as Hi-Res Audio and S-Force surround sound.Apart from usual Power & Volume rocker buttons, we can also see a dedicated camera button at the side. Unfortunately, we do not get other details such as battery capacity and the RAM.
Sony is yet to announce any details about the official launch of its next flagship device including the launch date. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
