Just a few hours back we reported on the alleged live images of Huawei P20 which reveal the dual camera setup of the upcoming device. As reported by Androidpure earlier rumours have suggested the existence of three camera sensors at the rear of the device, today new images of the device have surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo which seem to confirm the same and maybe the plus variant of Huawei P20.
The latest image reveals three camera sensors on the rear panel with first two camera sensors in the same way as that on iPhoneX while the third camera sensor placed below them followed by the LED flash. At the moment, we got no idea on how the three camera sensors will be used as usually in dual camera modules the first sensor is the primary sensor while the second one is the telephoto lens. We haven’t seen any device which uses three camera sensors. THe LECIA branding is visible with the camera module while the Huawei branding is at the bottom. The rear panel comes with glass finish with chamfered edges at the sides. Volume rockers and power buttons are placed on the same side, while the Antenna lines are slightly visible at the top ends.
Another image reveals the dual camera module of Huawei P20 and it may be the standard variant. In terms of design, both the standard and plus variant looks same with the exception of camera sensors.
At the moment, we have no information on the hardware specifications of Huawei P20, though the model has surfaced on Chinese certification agency TENAA which unfortunately doesn’t reveal the hardware specifications yet. Huawei is set to officially unveil P20 next month on March 27.
