The Honor 9N India launch date has been set for July 24th according to an official tweet from the company. And the device is a rebranded Honor 9i. Why? Because the company had launched a similarly named device which was a rebranded Huawei Mate 10 Lite.
Now, what exactly does the Honor 9N boast? The phone was launched a month ago in China, so we are already aware of the tech specs. The phone sports a 5.84-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD notch display, with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 432 PPI, and a 79.5% screen to body ratio.
The Honor 9N India variant is expected to run on EMUI 8.0, based on Android Oreo 8.0, and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor with 4GB of RAM. The device will be available in 64GB/128GB variants and supports a microSD card (up to 256GB) via the Hybrid Dual SIM card slot.
The dual cameras on the rear comprises of a 13MP sensor, with a secondary 2MP depth sensor camera, and an LED Flash. The selfie lens is a 16MP camera.
The Honor 9N is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery which charges over microUSB. The phone has a rear placed fingerprint sensor. Connectivity wise, the 9N supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, Glonass, BDS, 3.5mm headphone jack and an FM Radio. The device has a digital compass, an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.
The Honor 9N India variant could be available in Black, Blue, Green, Lime and Purple colours.

The Honor 9N India variant could be priced at Rs. 15,000 (based on the $220 price tag it retails for in China).
The company is also planning to launch the Honor Nova 3 in India, on July 26th. These will likely compete with the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, which are also set for a July 24th launch.
