We brought you the news about a Xiaomi Ferrari phone, remember? And now a Mi Mix 3 Ferrari Edition leaked render proves the device exists.
The device seen in the picture has a wallpaper, with a Ferrari car, surprise, surprise. The Mi Mix 3 Ferrari Edition seems to be otherwise, ordinary?
Unless you count the triple rear cameras on the back panel. That’s what the
leaked render reveals. Interestingly the cameras are not placed together. One lens sits above the LED Flash, while the other two cameras are placed vertically below it. There is a metal ring around the cameras, and a very large Ferrari logo, beneath which are the text logos of Mi and Ferrari.
The selfie lens on the phone is visible, which contradicts a previous leak which suggested that the Mi Mix 3 could have a pop-up camera.
There doesn’t seem to be fingerprint scanner on the back panel, which can only mean one thing, the phone will have an in-display fingerprint reader. The Mi Mix 3 Ferrari Edition could boast better specifications than the regular Mi Mix 3 at least in terms of camera, RAM and Storage.
It is highly likely that this is a possibility, considering that a previously leaked real life photo of the device, did show that the regular Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 does have an in-display fingerprint scanner, at least that’s what the icon on the screen suggests.
