The Honor 9N has been launched today in India. We brought you the news about the launch date last week, and even the complete technical specifications of the device. The 9N is a rebranded version of the Huawei 9i which was launched a month ago in China.
The phone is equipped with a FullView Notch 5.84-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display, with a 2280×1080 resolution, 432 PPI, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 79% screen to body ratio. The display has a 2.5D curved glass and a nano coating finish for a mirror effect. The Honor 9N runs on EMUI 8.0 with Android Oreo 8.0, and is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, with a dedicated i5 Co-processor for taks like GPS, step count, distance measurement, etc.
The Honor 9N will be available in three variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The microSD card slot supports up to 256 GB of expandable storage. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh.
The device supports Face unlock using the 16MP selfie liens which supports portrait mode with bokeh effect, and beautification. The primary photography hardware on the Honor 9N are 13MP and 2MP dual cameras with an LED Flash. The cameras support PDAF, Bokeh Effect. The secondary lens which is a depth sensor, has an f/0.95 aperture.
The rear-placed fingerprint scanner on the Honor 9N can be used for unlocking the device and also for other functions like taking photos, videos, answering calls, stopping alarms, to show the notification panel and to browse photos. The phone has a special ride mode, which prevents distractions while riding two-wheelers. You can connect up to 6 phones with a single master device, which can work in-sync like party speakers, using the Party Mode.
The Honor 9N has a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Wi-Fi Hotspot and Dual SIM cards via a Hybrid SIM slot. The phone has a Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Compass, and a Gravity Sensor.
Honor 9N price in India:
The Honor 9N has been priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant, and at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, and at Rs. 17,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and hihonor.com/in. The device will come in 4 colours: Lavender Purple, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Robin Egg Blue.
