The Realme U1 India launch date has been announced. The phone will debut on 28th November.
This is the first of the Realme U series phones, and does not surprise us. The company did announce a week ago, that the U series will be launched soon.
We recently reported that the Realme U1 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, which was also confirmed by the company. This makes the Realme U1 the World’s 1st smartphone with the Helio P70 SoC.
Realme has been taking to Twitter to promote the upcoming device, and the most touted feature on the phone, is the selfie camera.
The front snapper which the company says “is the most powerful selfie camera” has a high-resolution depth engine, an anti-blooming engine, faster multi-frame Noise Reduction Shot, and Accurate AI Detection. The last feature strongly suggests that the Realme U1 could support Face Unlock powered by AI.
The Realme U1 is equipped with a Dewdrop Notch display, like the Realme 2 Pro. The rest of the specifications have not been mentioned yet, but we will keep an eye out for leaks and further news.
According to a landing page on Amazon India’s website, the Realme U1 will be sold exclusively via the online portal, from 12:30 AM on November 28th.
