In spite of being a new brand, Realme has managed to grab some good attention with its devices starting from Realme 1 to Realme U1 and has managed to give some tough competition to existing brands that were dominating the entry-level segment of Smartphone market in India. A new report from Indian Express quoting the company CEO indicates that Realme 3 may launch in the first quarter of 2019.
Realme 3 and Realme smartphone with 48MP sensor?
The report also indicates that Realme is working on a smartphone that features the 48MP camera sensors. The 48MP camera sensor is already used by some of the recent launch smartphones such as Redmi Note 7, Huawei Nova 4 and Honor V20. Out of these Redmi Note 7 uses the sensor from Samsung & is priced lower, while the other two devices use the sensor from Sony. The 48MP sensor from Samsung reportedly uses AI algorithms to convert a 12MP out to 48MP while the Sony sensor gives the 48MP output directly from the sensor without using any AI algorithms. It would be interesting to see what sensor Realme uses for their upcoming smartphone.
