The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 India launch date has officially been announced. Amazon India has a teaser page detailing the device’s specs.
But since the phone had already been launched in Chile, Saudi Arabia, etc., we know all about the phone already.
The device sports a 6.59 inches Full HD+ display with no notch or a punch-hole camera. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features a pop-up selfie camera with a 16MP lens. The device appears to be nearly bezel-less thanks to the frame running around the screen, and a minimal chin which results in a 91% screen to body ratio. An earpiece is placed subtly in the forehead bezel.
The phone is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 710F processor and runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie. It has 4GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 boasts a triple camera setup with a 16 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The Y9 Prime 2019 is backed by a 4000 mAh battery, that charges over a USB Type-C port. The phone has a headphone jack on the bottom and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
The Midnight Black variant of the phone is not seen in the Amazon teaser page, but the Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue versions are.
