And just like with the Nokia 3.2, the company says that it’s rolling out the Android 10 Update for Nokia 4.2 in phases, or as it calls it “Waves”. The first wave has begun and the update has been seeded to 10% of users. It will be followed by a second wave on April 10th, where the firmware will be seeded for 50% of users. The final wave is scheduled to start on April 14th, when the update will be made available for all users.
HMD Global has explained why some Countries are missing from the Wave list. It says that these are related to the mobile network operator, who has to approve the new firmware build. Sometimes the approval takes days, which is why the update is delayed.
