Vu has launched four new smart televisions in India. Meet the Vu Ultra 4K TV series.
The TVs come in 4 sizes 43-inches (108cm), 50-inches (126cm), 55-inches (139cm), 65-inches (164cm), all of which has a 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Active Contrast, Digital & MPEG Noise Reduction, PC Mode, Game Mode, Gamma Control and Calibration.
There are quite a few picture modes available such as Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Game, Cricket, Cinema, Calibrated. Vu claimns the screen offers 40% enhanced brightness. The Vu Ultra 4K TV is powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, a Mali 470 MP3 GPU and 16GB of storage.
The 43-inches model offers 24W audio output, while the other variants have 30W output with support for MS12, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, DTS Virtual -X Sound, and a Noise Cancellation Box Speaker. The TVs come with a Vu ActiVoice remote control that supports voice controls, Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity.
The Vu Ultra 4K TV runs on Android 9.0 Pie, supports Google Assistant Voice Search (English, Hindi), it has official certification and hence comes with the Google Play Store app. The list of preloaded apps include Google Play Store, Google Movie, Google Music, Google Games, YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hotstar etc.
