Oppo has announced a new device in the A-series lineup. The device is called the Oppo A54 and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz.
The phone runs on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10, and has an IMG GE8320 GPU. The device has 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
The Oppo A54 sports a 6.51-inches LCD 60Hz refresh rate panel with a HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display has a 89.2% screen-to-body ratio, a pixel density of 269ppi, 1500:1 Contrast Ratio, 70% NTSC Color Gamut, 550 nits brightness, and supports 120Hz Touch Sampling Rate.
The selfie lens is a 16MP hole-punch camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and an FOV of 79.3°. The Oppo A54 features triple cameras on the back, consisting of a 13MP primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture, an FOV of 81.3°, a 2MP Macro sensor, a 2MP portrait sensor, both with an f/2.4 aperture and an FOV 88.8°, along with an LED Flash. The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery supports 18W Fast Charging, over a USB Type-C port.

The Oppo A54 price in India starts at Rs. 13,490 for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 4GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 14,490. The top-end version of the phone with 6GB/128GB costs Rs. 15,990.
The device comes in three colours: Crystal Black, Starry Blue and Moonlight Gold.
The Oppo A54 seems under powered compared to the Oppo A55 5G that was launched earlier this year, in China.
