The Redmi Note 10 took India by storm, with its stellar AMOLED display, build quality and impressive specs. Initially, there were quite a few issues with people being unable to buy the phone during flash sales.

Official Mi Stores were accused of forcing buyers to purchase additional products if they wanted the phone, and quite a few videos and reports circled around about the same.

And now it appears that Xiaomi has increased the price of the popular mid-ranger. The information was first spotted by Gadgets 360, who say that they have official confirmation about the same from the company.

The Redmi Note 10 was launched for Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 6GB/128GB variant carried a tag of Rs. 13,999. That changed today, with the company hiking the price by Rs. 500 for both models. The new prices of the variants are now Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 14,499 respectively. The Redmi Note 10 price hike has already taken effect, and you can verify that on Amazon India and Mi.com.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max prices are not affected by this change.

No official statement has been given by the company, regarding the Redmi Note 10 price hike. So much for honest pricing, eh?

This kind of feels similar to what Xiaomi has done with early bird pricing for devices sold in Europe and China.
