When will these phones get the OxygenOS 12 Update?
According to the official announcement by OnePlus, these phones are scheduled to be updated to Android 12 in the first half of 2022. The company has not mentioned which month the phones will get the update. But it is still nice to know which phones are eligible to receive the update.
It is slightly disappointing to see that the OnePlus 9R will only be getting the Android 12 Update next year, unlike the other devices in the OnePlus 9 series.
OnePlus had previously confirmed that the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, Nord and the Nord CE will get two OS updates, and three years of security updates. The OnePlus 7 series were launched with Android 9 Pie, and have been updated to Android 10 and 11. So, it is a bit of a surprise that OnePlus is among the eligible devices in the OnePlus Android 12 Update Roadmap.
