Xiaomi has announced the latest version of its custom Android skin. The brand also revealed the official MIUI 13 update roadmap globally, so here’s when your phone will get the new firmware.
What’s new in MIUI 13 Update
The update focuses on Liquid Storage, Atomized Memory, Focused Algorithms, Smart Balance. In case these terms sound familiar to you, that’s because they were introduced in the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. Many devices didn’t get the 12.5 update, so it is likely that Xiaomi has decided to embed the features in MIUI 13 instead.
That said, the MIUI 13 update brings a new feature called Sidebar, that lets users access their apps with a swipe gesture. It looks like the Edge panel that is found in Samsung devices.
