The Realme GT 2 Pro India launch date has been confirmed by the company on its Twitter account today. The flagship phone debuted a couple of months ago in Europe, so here’s a recap of its hardware.
The Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7-inches AMOLED 2K WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 92.6% screen-to-body ratio, supports HDR10+, DCI-P3, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The screen is home to an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The front camera on the phone is a 32MP Sony IMX 615 sensor with an f/2.4, and an 80.6° FOV. The Realme GT 2 Pro runs on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0, and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor with an Adreno 730 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone has triple cameras on the back panel, and the array consists of a 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor with a 150° FOV f/2.2 lens, and a micro-lens sensor with 20x Magnification that supports up to 40x Zoom and an LED Flash.
Realme has packed a 5000mAh battery in the phone that supports 65W SuperDart fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It can top up the device fully in just 33 minutes. The Realme GT 2 Pro does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but has Super Linear Dual Speakers, and supports Dolby Atmos and n, Hi-Res Audio. The smartphone will be available in 3 colours: Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black.

The Realme GT 2 Pro India launch date has been scheduled for April 7th. The event will be streamed live on the brand‘s social media channels at 12:30 PM.
Realme announced a new phone in the Neo series called the Realme GT Neo3 a couple of days ago in China. The device could debut later in India.
