The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is the latest addition to the Galaxy A-series in India. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, with an Adreno 642L GPU.
The A73 5G sports a 6.7-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display which has a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 800 nits brightness, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The selfie lens on the panel is a 32MP f/2.2 sensor.
The phone runs on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12, and supports Samsung Knox security features. The company has promised to support the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G with 4 years of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage, and supports up to 1TB of additional storage via a microSD card slot.
In the connectivity area, the phone supports 5G FDD Sub6: N1(2100), N3(1800), N5(850), N7(2600), N28(700), N66(AWS-3), 5G TDD Sub6: N40(2300), N41(2500), N78(3500), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 8802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4G+5GHz, HE80, SISO, 1024-QAM, Bluetooth 5.0 networks. Samsung has packed a 5,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy A73 5G, and it supports 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C connector. But, just like the Galaxy F23, the A73 does not come with a charger in the box.
The Galaxy A73 5G is equipped with a 108 megapixels primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, 10x Digital Zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP f/2.4 macro lens, a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and an LED Flash. The phone weighs 181g and measures 163.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm.
