Realme UI 4.0 will be announced on December 8th. The company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, has confirmed that the new version of the operating system will be revealed alongside the Realme 10 Pro series.
What to expect from Realme UI 4.0
Sheth shared some screenshots of the upcoming custom Android skin to highlight some features. Realme UI 4.0 introduces a card-style layout for the Settings app, and a redesigned Quick Settings panel.
The new version of the software will support Smart Always-On Display, with interactive panels, animated emojis and customized recommendations.
The new OS brings a Dynamic Computing Engine that will improve the performance of devices by 10%. Realme claims that it has optimized the battery life during gaming by 4.7%, and reduces the maximum temperature by 1°C.
Realme UI 4.0 supports Auto Pixelate, a feature that automatically redacts personal information in screenshots. The firmware has a new privacy tool called Private Safe, that supports Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for protecting user data.
Though the company has not mentioned this explicitly, it is likely that the Realme UI 4.0 update is based on Android 13. The Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ will be launched on December 8th in India. The Pro+ version is expected to be the most affordable device with a curved display.
