The above list (spotted by GSMArena), is based on a discussion thread between users and staff at the Motorola community forums. The Moto staff member has indicated that some mobiles in the list will start receiving the update in early 2023. It is likely that the Lenovo-owned company will release the Android 13 update for its flagship mobiles first, before making them available for mid-range devices and the others in the lower end of the Motorola Android 13 update roadmap.
It remains unclear if the software upgrade will roll out globally to all users, or whether the company plans to release them on a region-by-region basis. If history is any indication, it is probably the latter. Most of these phones were launched this year, while some of them debuted last year. Motorola has not been impressive when it comes to software support for its devices, hopefully things will change in the future, because the company has to stay relevant to its competitors, several of whom have promised 3 or 4 years of OS upgrades for their devices.
