Redmi’s new flagship phone is not far away. The Redmi K60 launch date has been set for next Tuesday.
The Xiaomi-owned brand shared some details about the upcoming smartphone on its Weibo page. The company says that it will not launch a special gaming variant of the Redmi K60, because the regular model is good for playing games, and will support liquid cooling.
The series will consist of three models, the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and the Redmi K60E.
The Redmi K60 Pro will be powered by the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The base version of the Redmi K60 will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Finally, the Redmi K60E will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The device will support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Redmi also shared a render of the K60, which shows of a triple camera array on the back panel. One of these cameras has a periscope lens.
