The ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 update is rolling out to users. The latest firmware is available for the ROG Phone 6 Pro.
What’s new in the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 update
The update introduces a new ROG UI design. Several apps have been redesigned including the Contacts, Phone, Settings, File Manager, Clock, Calculator, Gallery, Weather, and more. ASUS has brought the Android 13 design for the Quick Settings panel, Notification Tray, and the Volume Control pop-up. Users can now adjust the Notification permissions for each app from the Apps and Notifications Settings. The clipboard now supports auto delete.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 update brings an option to set the language for each app. Users can now access the QR Code scanner directly from the Lock Screen. Calls and Texts from Blocked Numbers will no longer be displayed to the user.
The firmware version number of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 update is 33.0610.2810.72. If you haven’t received the notification for the OTA already, you can check for updates manually by navigating to the Settings > System >System Updates. The full firmware for the WW and EU variants of the phones are available for download at ASUS’ website. The company is advising users to back up their data before updating the phone to the latest iteration of the operating system.
