Motorola has confirmed the Moto G84 5G launch date in India. The phone will debut on September 1st.
A teaser page on Flipkart outlines key specs of the phone. It reveals that the Moto G84 will sport a 6.55-inches pOLED display. The screen supports 120Hz Refresh Rate, 10-bit billion colours, HDR10+, DCI-P3, and has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The mobile runs on Android 13, and Motorola has promised just 1 major OS upgrade, i.e. to Android 14. The smartphone will receive 3 years of security updates.
The Moto G84 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, with an Adreno 619 GPU, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage. The main camera system on the device has a 50 megapixels primary sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle / Macro Vision / Depth Camera.
Motorola has packed a 5000 mAh battery in the phone, and it supports 30W Turbopower fast charging. Connectivity options on the Moto G84 includes support for 5G (14 bands), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. In the audio department, the device supports Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound.
Motorola says that the phone will have a Vegan Leather Finish, and is rated for IP54 Splash and Dust Resistance. The device will come in 3 colours: Viva Magenta, Marshmallow Blue, and Midnight Blue.
