Browsing websites on a smartphone can be difficult if you can’t read the text clearly. One way to get around this problem is to zoom in, another option is to increase the text size. We are going to show you how to change the font size in Firefox for Android.
You will need to download Firefox from the Google Play Store.
How to change the font size in Firefox for Android
1. Open Firefox on your phone.
2. Tap on the three-dot menu, and scroll down. Select the Settings.
3. Tap on Accessibility.
4. The first option on this page, which is, Automatic font sizing is enabled by default. Firefox adjusts the font size based on your device’s settings. This may not be an ideal solution, so you need to toggle this off.
5. Tap and drag on the slider for Font Size, to increase or decrease the size of the text. You can view a preview of the settings directly on the page.
Firefox allows you to increase the text size up to 200%, and reduce the font size up to 50%. Modify the settings per your requirement. That’s how to change the font size in Firefox for Android. Try browsing some websites, and you should see that the font size now matches with your chosen setting.
There is one more setting on the Accessibility page. It is called, Zoom on all sites. This option is disabled by default. You may choose to enable it, if you want to use the pinch to zoom gesture on websites. It works on all sites, even the ones that don’t support the feature.
