Ever since Samsung launched their Flagship device the Samsung Galaxy S4, many developers have tried to port the various features which were introduced in the phone.
Air Swiper is one such app, and it tries to function similar to the Air Gestures.
The app as the name suggests, requires you to swipe your hand over the device to toggle various features. The Air Swiper uses the device’s proximity sensor to do this.
A list of the features found in the app:
- Unlocking and locking the device & disabling a lockscreen
- SMS controls
- Sound controls
- Wireless controls – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, can be now turned OFF or ON by simple motions.
You can disable your device’s lockscreen and enable Air Swiper as an administrator, which will allow you to lock the phone by swiping over the sensor. To lock the screen swipe once over it, and to unlock it swipe thrice.
Besides unlocking the phone by swiping, the app can also unlock the screen if your phone receives an SMS. You can enable this feature from the SMS Controls menu option.
You can also toggle the Sound profile, and turn on/off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi using the various options in the app.
Not: You can only enable one feature at a time.
There is a game mode option which allows you to disable all functions while you immerse yourself in gameplay.
