Huawei last year flagship Huawei Mate 8 was launched in November last year and the next iteration or successor of Mate 8 i.e Mate 9 official launch is still few months away. We have already seen some leaks about Mate 9 (here and here). Today a new real life image of Huawei Mate 9 is spotted on Chinese Social Network Weibo which reveal only the Dual Camera setup of the smartphone along with the LED flash and the Fingerprint Sensor.
The leaked image reproduced above is taken with a back cover on the smartphone and the leakster has blurred all the area except the Dual camera setup, LED flash and the fingerprint sensor. The dual camera setup comes with two camera sensors i.e. mono-chrome and RGB sensors placed one above the other with LED flash located at the right side adjacent to the top camera. A better design may have placed the flash in between the two sensors, but Huawei mus have their own reason to put the LED flash on the right side. The fingerprint sensor is located below the dual camera.
Based on the earlier rumors and leaks, Huawei Mate 9 may sport a 5.9-inch QHD 2K display powered by Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor along with two RAM variants of 4 GB and 6 GB. The internal storage is expected as 64 GB for both the variants.
Huawei Mate 8 on the other hand sports a 6 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by HiSilicon Kirin 950 along with 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal storage. It comes with a 16 MP main rear camera and backed by a 4000 mAh battery.
But as we say with each leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
