A couple of alleged Redmi K30 leaked live images have surfaced in a YouTube video. This is what the upcoming phone looks like.
Analyzing the Redmi K30 leaked live images
The device has a dual punch-hole display placed in the top right corner of the screen. That tallies with the official teaser poster, which featured the same design.
According to the video, the main selfie camera is accompanied by a ToF (Time of flight) sensor.
The Redmi K30 leaked live images show off a triple camera array on the back, comprising a Sony IMX 686 60MP which should have a 1/1.7″ sensor size, and 0.8 μm pixel size, a wide-angle lens and a depth sensor.
The video by Techdroider claims that the phone could ship with a 6.6-inch LCD IPS display, which supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. If true, it is likely that the device may not have an in-display fingerprint scanner, and instead could be equipped with a side-mounted sensor.
This photo of the Redmi K30 does make us a bit skeptical, since we can see quite a bit of distortion in the edges of the camera array. And some rumours say that the phone could sport 4 cameras, while we only see three lenses in these photos.
Here’s a recap of the device’s hardware.
