It hasn’t been more than 6 months since the revolutionary Redmi note 3 was launched, and it appears that that Xiaomi may already have its successor ready.
A couple of photos, of the Redmi Note 4 were leaked today, on Chinese social network, Weibo.
The photos show that the Note 4 has dual rear cameras, with a dual LED flash sitting between both lenses. Speaking of which, there have also been reports of a supposed Xiaomi Mi 5S, also featuring dual rear cameras. There is no fingerprint scanner on the back panel, which means it will likely sport a front facing fingerprint scanner, like the company’s flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 5.
Though the back panel of the Redmi Note 4 looks almost exactly like the Redmi Note 3’s, the Note 4’s back panel sports a brush metal finish, unlike the smooth finish of its predecessor. The second camera (lower one), does look a bit distorted, so we were a bit skeptical about this leak at first glance. Though the design is quite similar to the Note 3 over all, it does have some striking differences.
The antenna lines are more distinctive, and so is the Mi logo, which is a bit darker. There is no speaker on the back panel of the Redmi Note 4.
Here is a photo of my Redmi Note 3 to compare it with:
The leakster also claims that the Redmi Note 4 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20/X25 processor. This leak could be true, considering that Xiaom’s CEO LEi Jun, recently announced that more affordable Xiaomi phones will be released in the latter half of 2016.
