Just two days ago, alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 got listed on Chinese 3C certification with model No. MCE16. The listing indicates a 3A charger for Xiaomi Mi 6 which clearly means the fast charger. The official 3C listing for the upcoming flagship device suggests that Xiaomi Mi 6 official launch may be round the corner. Apart from the 3C listing, a retail box of alleged Mi 6 also got leaked which suggests display size of 5.15 inch along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor powering the device backed by battery of 3200 mAh capacity. It also indicates a 12 MP main rear camera and a 4 MP front shooter.
Today we have few more leaks to add to the growing leaks on upcoming Xiaomi flagship device. Two alleged live shots and front panel of Xiaomi Mi 6 (1, 2) has surfaced on the web which gives us some more sneak peek into the design of the device. We can clearly see a Home button at front while a dual camera module along with LED flash is visible at the top left corner of the back panel. The MI branding is visible at the back panel. The back panel show curved sides with a shiny metallic look.
If you look at the alleged front panels that got leaked, we can clearly see that it doesn’t match with the live shots image above, but it does match with some of the earlier leaked renders of Xiaomi Mi 6. The front panel shows a bigger Home button than in the live shot image and a different front camera design at top with different slots. The difference in these two Front Panel images with Live Shots image, indicate that one of the two leaks is not genuine and in our opinion, the live shots image of Mi 6 above is FAKE.
As with any other leak, take this leak with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
