Amazon India have announced that they will be selling their Kindle series of Tablets from June 27.
After launching the Amazon Appstore recently, it is not surprising that they are launching their tablets in India.
This will provide some competition to the growing Tablet market in India. They will be selling the 16 and 32 GB versions of Kindle Fire HD will be at their website.
There are two models of Kindle Fire HD, one with an 8.9″ HD Display and one with a 7″ HD Display.
The Kindle Fire HD has a Dual Core Processor and a PowerVR 3D graphics core , a front facing camera. The speakers in the tablet use Dolby technology and provides an impressive virtual surround sound experience.
Price list for the various versions of the Kindle Tablets:
Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ – 21,999 INR for the 16GB version and 25,999 INR for the 32GB version
Kindle Fire HD – 15,999 INR for the 16GB version and 18,999 INR for the 32GB version
Kindle Paperwhite 3G – 13,999 INR
Kindle Paperwhite – 10,999 INR
