Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 10 Update for Galaxy M30s in India. Once again, the company is ahead of its official roadmap, because the OTA had originally been scheduled for release in April.
What’s new in the Android 10 Update for Galaxy M30s
The update brings One UI Core 2 to the device, which as you may know is a lighter version of the regular One UI 2.0, sans some features.
The firmware adds Dark Mode with Darkened Wallpapers, Widgets, Alarms. The colours and icons in the interface are clearer, and you can use full screen navigation gestures. One handed mode is also available in the update.
The Android 10 Update for Galaxy M30s brings the latest security patch, i.e., the March Android Security Patch to the phone.
The update is currently being seeded, and many users on the Samsung community forums are reporting that they have received it. If you haven’t, try navigating to Settings > Software update to check for the latest version manually.
Early user reports suggest that the response rate of the fingerprint scanner on the device has been improved.
