HMD Global is rolling out the Android 10 update for Nokia 6.2. The firmware arrives slightly behind the schedule that was announced in the Nokia Android 10 Update roadmap.
What’s new in the Android 10 update for Nokia 6.2
The update arrives with all Android 10 features including Dark Mode, Smart Reply, Gesture based Navigation, Location and Privacy Controls. The version number of the new update is v2.290. According to a screenshot from a Twitter user, the OTA update weighs about 1.54GB to download.
HMD Global says that the update will be seeded for 10% of users in the following countries today. It will roll out to 50% of users by May 1st and is expected to be made available for all users on May 3rd.

If your Country is not among the list, that’s because service providers have to approve the update in the region. That being said some users from regions which aren’t in the list (such as Iran), have already received the update. So, keep an eye out for the update notification or check for the update manually from time to time.
