The Android 10 update for Nokia 7.1 has been released in India. The roll out begins as per the roadmap released by the HMD Global owned company, a few months ago.
What’s new in the Android 10 update for Nokia 7.1 ?
Dark Mode is now available in the Android 10 based operating system, and can be enabled from the Display settings or the Quick settings panel. You can reply to notifications quickly using the Smart Reply option.
Gesture Navigation controls are here for the Nokia 7.1, so you get an all-screen experience. You can get to the home screen by swiping up from the bottom, switch between apps and go back to the previous screen using swipe gestures.
Android 10‘s privacy and location controls have been added to the OS, allowing you more options on what to share and when.
The Android 10 update for Nokia 7.1 also includes the November Android Security Patch from Google. The update weighs about 1275MB and has the version number v4.08B.

An early user review hints that the sound quality, and the touch screen’s response has been improved in the new firmware. You can check for the update manually if you haven’t gotten the notification for it already.
The Nokia 8.1 and the Nokia 9 PureView are the next devices in line to be updated to Android 10. We’ll keep you posted when more devices begin getting the update.
