Xiaomi has released the first Android 11 Beta for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The phones are among the first devices in the world, aside from the Google Pixel phones which have received a taste of the new mobile operating system.
The news was announced on the Mi Community forums today. That’s the good news, the bad news is that the update is still based on MIUI 11. This comes as a huge surprise considering MIUI 12 has already been announced, and is expected to be made available for some devices from this month.
The Android 11 Beta for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro download size is about 2.2GB for both phones. Fasboot roms for the new firmware are available on the official announcement page. We’ll leave a direct link for them here for your convenience.

We’d like to remind our readers to take a complete backup of your data, before installing the new version. Beta versions are bound to have bugs, so you shouldn’t try it on your primary device. There is no word about Android 11 for Redmi, Poco and other Xiaomi devices yet. We’ll update you when we have more information regarding the same.
