ASUS has released the Android 11 Update for ASUS Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro to users. The firmware that is being seeded is the stable version of the OS.
According to the official release notes the update includes new versions of the following apps: Smart HouseKeeper, Contact Person, Phone, File Management, Computer, Clock, Picture Library, Weather, Recorder, Settings, One-Key Switch and Backup.
The update also brings Android 11 features including one-time permissions, better file access permissions, automatic reset permissions, new notification styles, etc. It allows you to use Bluetooth when Airplane mode is enabled. One-handed mode has been removed from the OS.
The Android 11 Update for ASUS Zenfone 7 is currently rolling out in Taiwan, it is being seeded in batches. The full factory image is not available on the official Helpdesk page yet, but should go live in a few days.
Users in other Countries will need to wait for an official word from the company, but XDA suggests the new firmware could be released in a few weeks.
The firmware is available for the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro with the model numbers ZS670KS and ZS671KS respectively. The version number of the Android 11 Update for ASUS Zenfone 7 is WW_30.40.30.93. It brings the March Android Security Update with it.
