Realme is rolling out the Android 11 Update for Realme 7. The mid-range is currently receiving the latest firmware with Realme 2.0 UI.
What’s new in the Android 11 Update for Realme 7
The update brings the June Android Security Patch to the phone. According to the official release notes, Realme has fixed an issue that was preventing the camera from focussing correctly. It has also addressed a problem with the LED Flash not working while taking shots in portrait mode. The Android 11 Update for Realme 7 has the version number is RMX2151_11_C.08
The phone should no longer have noise issues while making calls. The Android 11 Update for Realme 7 solves the WhatsApp screen flashing issue as well. The change log says that the overall stability of the operating system has been improved, along with the performance.
The Android 11 Update for Realme 7 weighs about 640MB to download from the previous build, RMX2151PU_11.A.87. The full firmware is not yet available for download on the company’s software update page. Several users at the Realme forums say they have received the update on their device. If you haven’t received the OTA notification for the new firmware, you can go to the Settings > Software Update to check for the update manually.
Realme is yet to update the Realme 2 Pro to Android 11, but signs are hopeful since the company has been beta testing the update recently.
