Personalization
Realme UI 2.0 brings support for third party icon packs for the launcher. Folders can be combined or removed from the home screen as required.
And just like the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, the the Android 11 Update for Realme C3 allows users can choose between three dark mode styles: Enhanced, medium, and gentle. Dark mode can adjust the display contrast based on the ambient light, and the wallpapers and icons too. Animations have been added to the weather app.
Security and Privacy
An App Lock shortcut is available in the Quick Settings. The Android 11 Update for Realme C3 brings an important change, which lets you send a low battery message, and share your location with your contacts, when the device’s battery level drops to 15% or below.
Sharing a personal hotspot is now easier, via a QR Code. Backup your data, photos, videos, documents, and device systems to the cloud with the HeyTap Cloud app, you can also use it to migrate to a new phone. You can monitor your sleep time using the Sleep Capsule option in the OS.
Camera app
The camera app in the Realme 2.0 UI update for Realme C3 adds support for inertial zoom while shooting videos, and a level and grid option for composing videos,
Android 11 Update for Realme C3 version number
The version number of the firmware is RMX2020_11.C.04. You will need to be on RMX2020_11_A.63 to be eligible to receive the update.
The announcement page at Realme’s community forums says that the Android 11 Update for Realme C3 is being rolled out in batches, and it will take a few days for all users to receive the OTA notification.
