Samsung’s official Android 11 Roadmap showed us that the Note20 series was originally scheduled to receive the update next month, so this news comes as a welcome surprise for users.
The firmware brings Samsung’s custom Android skin OneUI 3.0. The build number of the update is N98xUSQU1CTL2. The download size of the Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is about 2.5GB.
SamMobile spotted the update information being shared by Reddit and Twitter users, who mentioned that they had received in on their Galaxy Note 20 AT&T locked variants in the U.S. The model number of the device is SM-N986U. The unlocked version of the phone has not received the update yet.
The report speculates that Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will be made available across more carries in North America soon. However, the roadmap released by the company suggests that it may only roll out the latest update in other countries in January – February 2021.
