Samsung is rolling out the Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S10 users. The 2019 flagship device gets its 2nd major OS upgrade. The company has already released the new firmware for the Galaxy S20 and Note20 and Note10 series.
What’s new in the Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S10
The update brings Samsung’s custom Android skin OneUI 3.0 to the phone. It also adds the latest Android Security Patch from Google. The version number of the update is G973FXXU9ETLJ/G973FOXM9ETLJ/G973FXXU9ETLJ. Sam Mobile observes that the Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S10 is also rolling out to the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 5G in Switzerland, and comments from Reddit suggest that the firmware is available for the Galaxy S10+ as well in Austria and Germany.
Sadly, no screenshots from the new update have been posted by users. According to the Samsung Members app, the update improves the Samsung Keyboard, widgets for the lockscreen and homescreen, better media controls, and enhanced privacy protection including automatic removal of permissions for apps that haven’t been used for a while.
