The Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is currently rolling out to users. The company has already released the update for the other phones in the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung had initially mentioned in its official roadmap, that the update was scheduled to be released in January – february of 2020, an early update on the other hand is sure to be welcomed by users.
What’s new in the Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
The update includes the latest version of Samsung’s custom Android skin, One UI 3.0. The build number of the firmware is G780FXXU1BTL1. It brings the December 2020 security patch from Google.
According to SamMobile, the Android 11 based update adds new versions of the Messages, Phones, Internet browser, Keyboard, Contacts, Calendar, etc. The update also includes a new UI design, Parental Control, Digital Wellbeing, etc.
The Android 11 Update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is currently being rolled out in Russia, for the phone with the model number SM-G780F. The firmware is expected to be made available in other markets soon.
