Two weeks after releasing the update for the International model, Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 12 Update for Galaxy A32 5G users in the US. The device which debuted last year, shipped with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.
What’s new in the Android 12 Update for Galaxy A32 5G
The Android 12 firmware for the mid-range phone is based on OneUI 4.1, and includes the latest features from Google’s operating system. This includes a new privacy dashboard to manage your permissions, privacy indicators that tell you when an app is using your camera or microphone. OneUI 4.1 has a refreshed interface that supports Color Palette with Material You Design. The Sharing Menu has been revamped, and there are new Quick Toggles to control access to the camera and microphone.
The new software update brings updated stock apps, new widgets, a new UI for the Camera app, as well as improvements to Bixby, Accessibility features, etc. The update brings the Android 2022 Security Patch to the 5G phone.
Sam Mobile reports that the firmware version for the Android 12 Update has the build number A326USQU7BVD1. It is available for Sprint and T-Mobile carrier models of the Samsung Galaxy A32. If you have not received the notification for the update yet, navigate to the Settings app’s Software Update page, and tap on the Download and install button.
