The plans for the Android 12 update for Motorola phones has been announced by the company. The new My UX software will include support for Material You design, that will customize the system interface’s colours automatically based on the primary colours of your home screen’s wallpaper.
It also ships with other improvements from Android 12, including better privacy controls, accessibility options, etc. The new conversation widget displays messages, missed calls, birthdays and more. Moto Gametime offers options to play games in a distraction free mode by blocking notifications, allows you to record the screen and control the audio easily.
Motorola says that it is working on new features for the Camera, Ready For, My UX experiences, etc. The firmware is currently being tested in closed beta within the Motorola Feedback Network, as the company polishes the operating system and irons out bugs.
When will I get the Android 12 Update for my Moto device?
The Lenovo-owned brand will begin rolling out the Android 12 Update for its devices in February 2022. An exact roadmap has bot been announced, but we now know which devices are eligible for the software upgrade.
