The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for Honor 6 Plus, Honor 6, and Honor 4X is in beta testing, the Huawei owned company announced yesterday.
But it is only available for users in the UK.
This is not the first time, the company is doing something like this. Early in December 2015, Honor announced a similar beta program for testing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for the Honor 7 in UK.
And within three weeks, the Android 6.0 OTA Update was made available for the Honor 7 in India, but in a rather odd move, the company asked users to register for the update by submitting their device’s IMEI at its website.
UK users who own a Honor 6 Plus, or a Honor 6, or a Honor 4X phone can sign up for beta testing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update, by filling up this form at Google Docs. It requires users to submit their device’s IMEI number, as well as the current firmware version.
