HTC has apparently begun rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its 2014 flagship phone, the HTC One M8.
The update has currently been spotted in Taiwan.
The news isn’t surprising, and tallies with HTC’s announced update roadmap, which you can read about from our previous write up.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the HTC One M8 is being rolled out OTA, and brings in Now On Tap, Doze mode, App permissions etc which Google included in the operating system, along with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI. The update bears the version number 6.12.709.4, and weighs a massive 1.1GB to download.
The version number is similar to the one reported earlier, 6.12.1540.4, by a Malaysian user, who has the developer version of the device.
