The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for OnePlus One is coming soon, according to the company’s co-founder, Carl Pei.
In his tweet, Pei mentions that the Marshmallow update for the One is in its final testing stage, but didn’t give an ETA as to when the update will be rolled out.
Instead, he said that “it depends on other parties, but should be very soon”. This is likely a reference to Cyanogen Inc, with which OnePlus partnered for the firmware for the 2014 flagship phone.
Considering that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been available for a good six months, the roll out delay for the update seems a bit slow. But it also applies for the 2015 flagship device, OnePlus 2, which is yet to receive the OxygenOS 3.0 update.
