If This Then That. This has been a very popular app amongst iOS users and the app was recently launched for Android. IFTTT lets you connect your networks to perform various actions. You can create your channel (Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, etc). You could create a recipe like If you post something on Facebook, then post the same automatically on Twitter. Quite useful for people who use multiple social networks.

Google Hangouts
While this is not a new app, Hangouts received a rather substantial update which brought in some new features like a Homescreen Widget, Merged Conversations for SMS and Hangout chats, etc. You can read about it at our article. Even the notification sound was changed slightly.

FLASHOUT 2
The sequel to the popular futuristic racer was released recently, and offers an exciting new experience. The game includes 10 futuristic circuits located in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, London, Moscow, Paris, Seoul, Taipei City, Tokyo, Warsaw. The graphics are stunning, and the game offers various game modes including a Career Mode, and Online multiplayer.

Abyss Attack
Old School Shoot ’em up. This gem of a game from Chillingo, has some great graphics, and offers some quality gameplay. You can unlock six Submarines, and upgrade them with various powerups. There are 87 missions to complete and 15 ranks to achieve in this gorgeous endless shooter.

Asphalt 8: Airborne
Probably the hottest game on Google Play, the freemium racer was updated to include one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Great Wall of China. Yes, you can now race on 6 tracks featuring the Chinese Wall. There are also some new Dream Cars in the game, including some from Ferrari. Checkout the video below. Gameloft say it is their way of celebrating the Year of the Horse, by adding more Horsepower to the game.
