Google turned 16 on September 27th, and celebrated it’s birthday with a lovely cake.
Wait a minute, those aren’t candles on the cake. They are Lollipops!
No one puts a lollipop on their cake, but Google did. It’s True! It’s True! Could this be a hint that the next version of Android, i.e, Android L = Lollipop?
Well, why not? Though Lollipop isn’t a brand like KitKat, it’s a generic sweet, and traditionally Android has been named after sweets. this rumour has been circling around for months, and the fact that they teased it by putting it on the cake could confirm that.
But, on the other hand, it could well be a prank, which would keep Android fans fooled, until they announce the actual name of the OS.
Do we actually need a name for it? I think Android L is a cool name.
